Semi Truck Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems – Pressure Systems International, the provider of automatic tire inflation systems, announced TireView, a strong tire pressure monitoring system designed for commercial vehicles available early next year. P.S.I. acquired the TPMS TST product provider in April 2017 and adapted the design.
P.S.I. said adding TPMS to its product line is a major expansion of its portfolio to provide a bumper-to-bumper solution for tire management. The first phase of the launch of TireView will include standalone solutions for the truck and tractor markets, followed by products for trailers in addition to ATS P.S.I for trailers or as standalone.

P.S.I. TireView said it would also offer an optional flow-thru kit designed to allow the TPMS sensor to remain attached to the axle during routine tire maintenance while still providing damage protection and theft resistance.
“We see TPMS and ATIS as complementary solutions, not competitive,” said Jonathan Gravell, vice president of business development for P.S.I. “Both approaches bring their own benefits. Automatic inflation is always the most desirable approach. However, adding TireView will provide a fleet with improved tire data, allowing them to identify certain tires that need attention, which other systems cannot do today. ”
P.S.I. also works with telematics providers to give the fleet the ability to see tire status remotely for proactive maintenance.
